2. Users of the Archives’ holdings must carry proof of identity. Before consulting materials they must fill in the Document Consultation Form.

3. In no case will copies be provided of documents kept in other archives of which we only have copies.

4. Materials belonging to our Archives or donated/on loan which are over 50 years old will be considered as antiques.

4.1. Copies of plans and photocopies of written documents of less than 50 years may be made, provided the materials are not subject to any other restrictions (thesis copyright, originals of a book awaiting publication, etc.) and their state of conservation does not make it inadvisable. Current fees will be applied.

4.2. In no case may image documents and those over 50 years old be photocopied; a photographic copy will be provided.

5. Users requiring an image reproduction of a document (negative copy) must fill in a request form, abiding by the established agreements and paying the price of reproduction according to current price lists. People requesting copies must at all times abide by the current regulations on copyright.

6. In no case may materials consulted be taken outside the History Archives.

7. None of the documents kept at the Branch’s History Archives-Documentation Centre may be given on loan to users. Materials can only be taken out of the Archives for the purposes of publication, exhibition and conferences according to the regulations established for such cases.

In the case of all of these regulations, the director of the Archives reserves the right of admission of an application if it could harm the document requested, or in the event of any other circumstances not covered by the regulations.
