The practice was set up in 1982 and concentrates on projects and works of residential architecture, amenities and public space.

Alongside the experience acquired by Jordi Farrando as part of the Urban Projects team of Barcelona City Council (responsible for the transformation of the city that began in the 1980s and was awarded the 1990 Prince of Wales Prize in Urban Design of Harvard University), the practice has gradually consolidated itself with its work both here and abroad.

Its architecture and public spaces take as their basis respect for the conditions and specificities of the setting and explore the unusual possibilities of the programmes. A dynamic, adaptable team and a solid network of collaborators, along with the greatest care of every phase in the process, ongoing dialogue with the client and meticulous attention to detail, produce results that have received various national and international awards and recognition.
