New building of 4000 m² to accommodate a civic and sports centre in Ordino. The building is placed at the entrance to the town, and the Council specified that the building should not block the view of the Romanesque church. This requirement produced a natural conflict between the functional brief and the scale of the building, which we fragmented into small pieces so that its volume would not alter the landscape. The building includes a swimming pool, a gymnasium and a bar. On the upper floor there is a tourist information centre, with a square in front for public meetings. A large car park is located under the square and at the last minute a nursery school was added to the programme.
