Preliminary project date:
Proposal for the remodelling of one of the central squares in Ghent, beside the EmielBraunplein operation.
The Korenmarkt is an important interchange node where public transport, particularly the tram, plays a fundamental role.
The project frees up the maximum possible surface area to create a continuous urban space that integrates with the neighbouring EmielBraunplein operation and revalorises the city’s monumental centre.
