Compulsory in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. No compulsory in Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and the Northwest Territories. The program is based on points for activities completed. The program is comprised of two components: Professional Renewal and Self-Directed Learning Opportunities. Professional Renewal activities are comprised of topics related to Provincial priorities whereas Self-Directed activities apply to the practice of architecture at large. The number of activities required per cycle or year differs from Province to Province. |
