Origin 2 (other countries) Same requirements as the Icelandic architects - diploma in architecture, professional examination and register at the Ministry of Environment. The work permit must be issued before coming to Iceland.

If foreign architects are authorised to work independently, what type of collaboration with national architects is recommended?  
In the event that foreign architects are not authorised to work independently, what is the stipulated formula of collaboration with national architects? It is possible to collaborate with national architects who have an authorised license in order to be able to submit drawings to the local authorities.
