REQUIREMENTS
Origin 1 (all origins) Qualified architects graduated from universities accredited by the UIA have to pass the professional practice examination and realise 2 years of internship in Namibia. Should they have realised the internship elsewhere, this period reduces to 1 year in Namibia.

PROCEDURE
Apply to the Namibia Institute of Architects and submit the required documentation.
 
EXPENSES
N$ 100 for registering at the NIA and N$ 150 at the Namibia Council for Architects and Quantity Surveyors. The annual membership in NIA is N$600 and in the NCAQS N$350. Practice levy to NIA is N$575 per point.

If foreign architects are authorised to work independently, what type of collaboration with national architects is recommended? Up to individual architects discretion.
